Your weekly report presents an overview of interesting Field Effect metrics. The Weekly report has several sections, and our guide Meet Your Weekly Report covers them in more detail.
The Weekly report is broken down into several sections and is covered in more detain in our guide Meet Your Weekly Report
In this guide we look into the Security Events summary and what it represents.

The Security Event summary number listed at the top of the Weekly Report represents all the internal alert events available to Field Effect. Field Effect then analyzed, assessed, combined, and enriched these with other data, and our analysts and analytics reviewed them alongside additional data sources (endpoint agent, network traffic, etc.) to generate an ARO only when necessary.
An increase in Security Events can also reflect new analytics that Field Effect develops for new vulnerabilities. These can sometimes create a lot of additional Security Events internally. Over time these will be fine-tuned to reduce the number of false positive Security Events.
